Seminario web: 15/04/2025. 18:00 – 19:30 h
In specialized fields like legal, technical or EU institutional translation, linguists must comply with strict standards of consistency, accuracy, correct terminology and referencing. In these projects, the importance of human expertise is unquestionable, and the verification of the AI output based on reliable databases is essential.
However, this verification is often a laborious and time-consuming task.
Juremy.com was designed to support precisely this workflow by providing instant contextual search results from trusted and up-to-date EU databases.
Juremy is an online search tool which provides fast and customizable bilingual search in 320,000 published EUR-Lex documents, and in almost 700,000 IATE entries in all 24 official EU languages.
The use of the tool significantly speeds up the research and verification process, and thus increases productivity and translation quality.
The structure of the session:
1. Introduction to EU document repositories and terminology resources
2. Background of the Juremy tool and its databases, introduction of the main features
3. Live demonstration of the tool and its CAT plugins on practical examples
4. Q&A
